The first Mariyung service ran on the Blue Mountains Line on Monday, departing from Lithgow and arriving at Central Station. The trains will replace the V-Sets that have run on the Blue Mountains Line since the 1970s. They first entered service on the Central Coast and Newcastle Line in December and will be deployed on the South Coast Line in 2026.
