Copper to PEX tips…I deburr and apply water soluble flux to the pipe/fitting. I only apply heat to the pipe for a few seconds. Then I focus the heat on the PEX A adapter. Once the solder melts, I remove the heat. Capillary action pulls solder into the joint for a watertight seal.
