Replying to @maedae998 Sensory seeking doesn’t always mean wanting sensory input all the time. ❤️ Bethany is autistic with high support needs and she is incredibly sensory seeking when she’s awake, but bedtime is completely different. Her bedroom is for sleep. She doesn’t want a pillow, duvet, toys or comfort items in her bed. She has blackout to keep the room dark and white noise playing, and that’s what works for her. Sometimes the thing that helps an autistic child regulate isn’t MORE sensory
