👨🏽‍💻With newer more capable tests coming through, some fluoroscopic tests have are now less used in every day practice - for example with the advent of CT colonography, in the UK we don’t do as many barium enemas as we used to. The trusty barium swallow however is still going strong! 👨🏽‍💻These are done to look for functional or structural problems in the pharynx or oesophagus and can give answers that endoscopy can’t so they still have a lot to offer 👨🏽‍💻Here we are focusing on one part
