Voting rights rally held outside Alabama state Capitol

The rally for voting rights is going down today in Montgomery in response to attacks on Black representation and political power. These are the seats that give Black communities a direct say in how schools fund and teach our children, how police engage with our neighborhoods, which communities receive hospitals, playgrounds, and public investment — and whose concerns elected officials actually answer to. Today, we’re marching and fighting for our rights… not standing in line for a watch. #apwatc
