Todd Saunders on why Fogo Island feels like home. Over a decade ago, the Norway-based, Newfoundland-born architect came to Fogo Island to design the Inn, the Shed, and Fogo Island Arts' four artist studios. Since then, he's built his own home on the island, which he returns to often, especially in the summer when residents will spot him zipping around on his bike or kayaking out at sea.
