Israeli officials have been pushing the United States to join the fray and use its huge bunker-busting bomb to crush Iran’s nuclear capabilities.

Since Israel began its concerted attack on Iran on Friday, calls for regime change in Iran have grown louder – from hawks in the US Congress to Israeli officials and some Iranian activists abroad.

Israel and Iran have begun a new round of attacks, as the conflict between the two heavily armed rivals enters its fourth day.

The conflict has killed hundreds and wounded more than a thousand since Friday in Iran and killed at least 24 and injured hundreds in Israel. The attack on Iran came amid protracted talks between the U.S. and Iran centered around Iran’s nuclear program.

Iran’s state-run news agency said Monday that its governmental television station abruptly stopped a live broadcast after Israeli strike. During a live broadcast, the sound of an explosion could be heard as a the news presenter hurried off camera amid dust and debris wafting in the air.
