Texas linebacker Trey Moore announced Thursday that he will be entering the 2026 NFL Draft after spending two years with the Longhorns. He now joins linebacker Anthony Hill Jr. as the second Texas player to declare for the draft since the end of the regular season.

Last offseason, the Atlanta Falcons traded up into the first round of the 2025 NFL draft to select edge rusher James Pearce Jr. with the 26th overall pick. Pearce currently leads all rookies with eight sacks and has recorded at least one in each of his last six games.

Anthony Hill Jr. will be among the prospects available in April’s draft. Per an announcement from the Texas linebacker, he has elected to turn pro. As a true junior, Hill could have remained in place with the Longhorns for 2026.

Now, the hype around Manning has returned. According to Fox Sports NFL reporter Ralph Vacchiano, several scouts believe Manning would be the top quarterback in the 2026 draft class, should he choose to enter, though the expectation in Austin is that he will return for another season.
