Thousands of Chicagoans have filed service requests to the city for snow and ice removal on sidewalks, roads and bike lanes after this winter kicked off with the most snow in the area since 1978.

A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for much of the Chicago area, as roads may become slick and snow-covered.
After snowy weekend, Chicago expected to receive up to another four inches of snow on Monday during evening rush hour.
The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory from midnight to 9 a.m. Sunday as the area could see between 3 to 5 inches of snow.
