Aurora officers responded to reports of a burglary in the 700 block of Oswego Court at about 8:30 a.m. Tuesday. After they arrived, a man jumped into a police car and took off.

A Milwaukee police chase ended in a crash near 3rd and Mineral on Tuesday morning. The pursuit ended when the driver struck a parked vehicle and a tree. The driver of the vehicle, a 36-year-old man, was arrested after a brief foot pursuit.

According to Aurora Police Department (APD), the suspect stole an APD patrol vehicle and led officers on a chase through multiple jurisdictions. The chase ended when an APD sergeant intentionally rammed the stolen patrol vehicle in the intersection of East Alameda Parkway and North Airport Boulevard resulting in a crash.
