Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Johnny Wilson was carted off the practice field after suffering what appeared to be a left leg injury during Tuesday’s practice.
The Eagles selected wide receiver Johnny Wilson in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft. Wilson spent most of his rookie season as a backup, appearing in 16 games and making four starts. He caught five passes for 38 yards and a touchdown en route to securing his first ring at the professional level.

This is the second straight August that the Eagles swung a trade for a wide receiver. In 2024, the Eagles acquired Jahan Dotson to serve as the third wide receiver. They didn't give up nearly as much to get Metchie, sending tight end Harrison Bryant and a fifth-round pick for Metchie and a sixth-round pick.
