The two men opened up about their continued fight for justice in the new documentary Leaving Neverland II: Surviving Michael Jackson, which premieres Tuesday, March 18. Since the original documentary premiered on HBO in 2019, both have continued their attempts to bring their cases to trial — and it’s been a consistent uphill battle.

In 2023, it was reported a judge would revisit the allegations made by Robson and Safechuck after they were dismissed in 2021, when it was ruled that two of Jackson’s companies, MJJ Productions and MJJ Ventures, had no legal duty to protect them.

Channel 4 has confirmed the release date for Leaving Neverland 2: Surviving Michael Jackson, the follow-up to the Emmy-winning 2019 film Leaving Neverland. The new documentary, which is once again directed and produced by Dan Reed, will officially air at 9pm on Tuesday 18th March on Channel 4.
