A 30-year-old North Miami Beach man was killed early Tuesday morning in a crash on Florida’s Turnpike in Coconut Creek, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Nicholas Robinson was under the influence and driving 100 mph when he slammed into a disabled Jeep on the side of the road, according to the arrest documents.

A man who crashed into a vehicle on the MacArthur Causeway is facing a new charge after a victim died on Tuesday. Nicholas Devon Robinson, 24, was charged with vehicular homicide in a reckless manner after being previously charged with reckless driving causing serious bodily injury.
