The former Minnesota Golden Gopher came in to be what many expected to be a camp arm, but he has shown he can be more than that. His latest work came on Wednesday during joint practices with the Patriots when Brosmer was able to hit one of his targets downfield for a big touchdown against their stiff secondary.

Brosmer was 15-of-27 passing for 156 yards with an interception in Saturday's preseason loss to New England. He was sacked four times but head coach Kevin O'Connell praised Brosmer's decisiveness, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
