Prince William and Princess Kate are reportedly planning a move to Forest Lodge in Windsor Great Park later this year, potentially making it their primary residence even after William ascends the throne.

Even after Kate Middleton and Prince William move to the larger Forest Lodge later this year, they still won't employ any live-in staff in a bid to keep Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis as grounded as possible.

But within days, the family had to endure the sadness of losing William's grandmother, Queen Elizabeth. And then, in early 2024, soon after they had settled into new roles as Prince and Princess of Wales, it emerged that first King Charles, 76, and then Kate were diagnosed with cancer.
