The Rockets, the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference, had a chance to take the lead in the final seconds but Draymond Green came up big on defense, forcing Alperen Sengun into a tough shot and Jimmy Butler got a key rebound to seal the win.

“He’s the best defender I’ve ever seen in my life. He rises to the occasion,” Warriors coach Steve Kerr said. “On top of being a great defender, he’s an incredible competitor. We’ve seen it. I’ve seen it for 11 years. Game on the line, Draymond making a stop. It’s like having Steph Curry take the shot.”

Green was already involved in several on-court tussles during Game 2 in Houston, prompting Rockets fans to chant obscenities at him. After the game, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr admitted that Green can be an "instigator" on the court but called out fans for their choice language.
