The defensive tackle's unique journey through three levels of college football has prepared him for his final season with the Tigers after a successful stint at Florida A&M.

Auburn High School has a new girls head basketball coach. Niaja Taylor gets the job. Taylor was an assistant coach at Auburn the last four years, and she is a 2016 Auburn graduate and a former Auburn point guard.

The Auburn council voted 6-1 Monday to support the moratorium, but the lack of a unanimous vote means the council must hold a second reading, which will take place Sept. 2. No one spoke during public comment on the moratorium.

Auburn was one of five teams to finish that regular season unbeaten but was ranked third, meaning the Tigers missed out on the No. 1 vs. No. 2 BCS national-championship game. Southern Cal won that game but later vacated the title as part of its NCAA sanctions.

The Auburn Tigers offense has a lot of star power heading into 2025, but they're not going anywhere without guards Dillon Wade and Jeremiah Wright.
