Officers originally responded to a shooting call near the intersection of South Rhodes Avenue and Oberlin Court around 5:30 p.m., finding Javion suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to Akron Children's Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Three people, including an 8-month-old infant, were fatally shot at a Utah carnival after two groups got into an argument, police said.

The 15-year-old boy was in an alley in the 2600 block of West Evergreen Avenue about 3:30 p.m. when he was shot in the right leg, police said.
