It hasn't taken long for Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers to earn the respect of his new teammates and coach Mike Tomlin. The four-time MVP signed in June to be the starter for the 2025 season is coming off a rocky two-year stretch with the New York Jets and says his decision to play for the Steelers was not ego-driven like many of his previous career choices.

Aaron Rodgers often catches vitriol from the public eye. However, his Pittsburgh Steelers teammates continue to paint a different picture, one that says the four-time MVP is a positive influence for them. Steelers quarterback Skylar Thompson believes that Rodgers is often misunderstood by people who do not known him everyday around the team.

In June, quarterback Aaron Rodgers revealed that one reason he agreed to a team-friendly contract to join the Pittsburgh Steelers was because he was "pretty sure" he would retire following the 2025 season. It sounds like Rodgers' teammates could already have him thinking twice about those plans.
