Daniss Jenkins led the Detroit Pistons to a 98-83 victory over the Houston Rockets in the NBA 2K26 Summer League on Sunday at Thomas & Mack Center.

Facing a tough and physical Detroit defense, second-year Rockets guard Reed Sheppard struggled with both shooting accuracy and turnovers.

The Pistons improved to 2-0 at the start of the 2K26 Summer League tournament in Las Vegas. Jenkins was at the helm of leading Detroit to its second win, but the former undrafted prospect from St. John's wasn't alone. Tolu Smith recorded his second double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds, to go along with four assists.
