SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - Former Notre Dame head coach Lou Holtz has entered hospice care, according to a report from Kyle Sutherland with On3 and Rivals.

Holtz spent his career as an assistant at Ohio State, and was also head coach at North Carolina State, the New York Jets in the NFL, Minnesota, and South Carolina.
