A new system within YouTube will use AI to monitor your history and the lifetime of your account to flag whether you’re under 18. If it thinks you are, you'll be moved to a teen account.

Critics have raised concerns about privacy as well as access to the platform for users falsely flagged as underage.

To start out, the program will only affect a small number of accounts. YouTube said it will closely monitor the system before rolling it out on a larger scale.
