The man facing two felony charges admitted to setting a Danville city councilmember on fire with the intent to kill him.

A suspect has been arrested after killing one person and injuring another at the Avalon Fishing Pier in Kill Devil Hills.

Five schools have new start and end times, and some students will have to walk further to bus stops to get to school.

The crash happened near the intersection of East Main Street and Sheek Road, just west of I-65 and near Indy South Greenwood Airport.
