Powerball jackpot reaches $565 million; Thursday’s Ohio Lottery results
CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Powerball jackpot is continuing its steady climb upward, sitting at $565 million for the drawing on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2025. Despite the impressive number, it still doesn’t crack the top 10 for largest Powerball jackpots in history. The largest was a $2.04 billion prize won in California in November 2022.
The winner can also choose the cash option of $66.5 million. The Ohio Lottery announced Friday that the jackpot winning ticket was sold at the Walmart Supercenter in Huber Heights.

Ohio lottery officials say the winner has 180 days to claim the prize. The deadline is Dec. 30, 2024. The winning numbers in the drawing were 02, 26, 33, 55, 57 and red Powerball 22.
