Governor Josh Stein signed the budget into law to help North Carolinians’ wait times at the DMV for driver licenses, IDs, and more.

The North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles has announced the creation of 40 new driver license examiner positions, thanks to a mini-budget signed into law by Governor Josh Stein this month.

Voter registration records for more than 20,000 people in North Carolina have been successfully amended thus far.
