NFL insider Josina Anderson reported that an NFL quarterbacks coach believed Sanders came across as "brash" and "arrogant" during pre-draft interviews, while NFL draft insider Todd McShay reported that some teams felt Sanders did not take a "professional approach" to the interviews.

Former NFL quarterback Boomer Esiason said this week that he spoke with three different personnel people in the NFL that removed Sanders off their draft boards completely because the team owners made it clear they did not want him. "Shedeur Sanders just torpedoed himself," Esiason said.
