Despite New York Giants general manager Joe Schoen declining to address any questions related to Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, the Giants were all in on Stafford and willing to do whatever it took to get him into East Rutherford.

Sean McVay insists he never seriously thought his partnership with Matthew Stafford would come to an end this month after four seasons together with the Los Angeles Rams

After allowing Matthew Stafford to talk to other teams, the Rams reached a new deal with Stafford to keep him in 2025.

"I think it's really kind of been a year-to-year thing. … As long as he wants to play," McVay said of being able to keep Stafford.

Matthew Stafford required only three weeks to accomplish what the 37-year-old quarterback and the Los Angeles Rams needed seven months to accomplish last offseason: agreeing to a new contract.
