Thunderbolts” is both a return to form for Marvel and something a little different for the superhero factory, writes Associated Press Film Writer Jake Coyle in his review.

Thunderbolts, the latest big-screen release from Marvel Studios (which is also its final Phase Five film), goes the Suicide Squad route, bringing together a group of degenerate anti-heroes in the name of the greater good. Surprisingly, it's a more enjoyable movie than its DC counterpart.

Above all else, Thunderbolts* is the rare Marvel movie with something to say. You'd be surprised how deep this blockbuster goes, with a message even more poignant a half-decade removed from the pandemic.
