The agency also reported instances of the counterfeit toys breaking apart and releasing small pieces that could become ingestion or choking hazards.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission is issuing an urgent warning to anyone who has purchased a fake Labubu doll because children could be at risk for this deadly safety hazard. The counterfeit Labubus, also known as “Lafufus,” are small and can easily break apart, causing a choking hazard to small children.
