Newcastle United have completed the signing of attacking midfielder Jacob Ramsey for a fee of around £43m. The 24-year-old is understood to have signed da five year deal after arriving from Aston Villa following successful talks with Eddie Howe.

The Magpies finalised a £39m [$52m] agreement, with £4m [$5m] in add-ons, to prise Ramsey away from Aston Villa as discussions quickly accelerated once the player’s availability became clear.
