Seven people were "unaccounted for" in Yolo County's town of Esparto after several explosions at a fireworks warehouse resulted in a fire, officials said.

Seven people remain unaccounted for days after multiple explosions obliterated a fireworks facility Tuesday in the Esparto area of Yolo County, Cal Fire said. The explosions and fire that followed caused nearby evacuations and power outages.

The U.S. Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board would investigate such an explosion. The White House has proposed eliminating it.
