DeKalb County has scheduled a public memorial service on Friday for Officer David Rose, who died in an Aug. 8 attack on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

David Rose, 33, died on Aug. 8 while responding to a call involving a reported gunman near Clifton Road and CDC Parkway on Emory University’s Atlanta campus.
