World No. 26 Ekaterina Alexandrova continues her impressive run at the WTA 1000 tournament in Doha after creating another big comeback to beat No. 6 seed Jessica Pegula 4-6 6-1 6-1. In the first set, the American blew an early break but got another one in the fifth game before serving out for the opener in the 10th game.

Ekaterina Alexandrova ousted sixth-seed Jessica Pegula to sweep into the semi-finals of the WTA Qatar Open on Thursday. Three-time defending Qatar Open champion Iga Swiatek is in quarter-final action later on Thursday against last year's runner-up Elena Rybakina.
