The Chicago area will wake up to extremely cold conditions on Monday as arctic air plunges wind chills to dangerous levels.
Meteorologists are expecting 45 to 55 mph winds overnight into Monday in the Chicago area. Temps could also drop overnight into the teens with subzero wind chills. Snow showers accumulating up to an inch are also possible early Monday.
