Two Carnival Cruise Line passengers drowned Friday while swimming at the company's new Bahamas resort. Police said both were Americans.

Both of the victims were American nationals, according to that press release, although their names have not been released.

Both passengers remained in the Bahamas where an autopsy will be performed to help determine the exact cause of death, police said.
