SpaceX successfully launched a new round of Starlink satellites into orbit on Wednesday night after scrubbing the flights and a little more than three hours after the private company launched another mission in Florida.

A new SpaceX rocket launched a pristine batch of Starlink internet satellites into orbit late Wednesday (Feb. 26) in a dazzling nighttime liftoff.

The mission from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station will deploy 21 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit, providing enhanced worldwide internet service.

The rocket carried a lunar lander named Athena which will reach the Moon in about a week. Once there, it will measure gases from the lunar soil near the Moon's south pole. The Artemis mission's stated long-term goal is to establish a permanent base on the Moon.

After three days of delays, SpaceX managed a Starlink launch from Cape Canaveral completing two launches on the Space Coast in just over three hours Wednesday.
