McMillan jumped in an attempt to make a catch in the first quarter of Saturday's preseason game with the Pittsburgh Steelers when he was undercut by Steelers defensive back Daryl Porter, causing McMillan to land on the back of his head with his body folding awkwardly.

The Buccaneers will not be suiting up in Week 1 of the 2025 NFL season due to an injury, the team announced on Tuesday.

After falling awkwardly in a preseason game Saturday, Bucs WR Jalen McMillan will miss regular season time with a "severely strained neck," coach Todd Bowles said Tuesday.
