After being called out by John Cena on social media, WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H has officially announced AJ Styles as Cena’s next opponent at WWE Crown Jewel 2025. Cena and Styles advocated for the match over the past 24 hours, each posting their desire to face one another again.

Plans reportedly changed for multiple top WWE Superstars ahead of this past Saturday's Wrestlepalooza event on ESPN.

As much as the Greatest of All Time elevated Styles' star power and relevance in WWE, it was the former TNA and IWGP champion who helped take Cena's in-ring game to the next level.
