A schoolboy who died after he was found seriously injured on a Glasgow street has been named locally as Amen Teklay. Emergency services raced to Clarendon Street in the city's west end after receiving reports of a person being found injured at 10.30pm on Wednesday. Crews attended but sadly, the 15-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.

A teen boy has been found dead on a Glasgow street with police treating the death as suspicious. Officers from Police Scotland raced to Clarendon Street at around 10.30pm on Wednesday, March 5, where the 15-year-old was found seriously injured and sadly died shortly after.
The Thistle centre, which opened in January, lets drug users take illegal drugs in a safe environment under medical supervision.
The death is now being treated as suspicious and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances. Formal identification is yet to take place however, the boy's family are receiving specialist support.
