A review of police custody facilities in Glasgow has raised concerns about children being held for "inappropriate" lengths of time.

Investigating officers have been carrying out door-to-door enquiries and gathering CCTV footage following the incident on Wednesday night.

A teen boy has been found dead on a Glasgow street with police treating the death as suspicious. Officers from Police Scotland raced to Clarendon Street at around 10.30pm on Wednesday, March 5, where the 15-year-old was found seriously injured and sadly died shortly after.

A 13-year-old was held in custody for more than six hours and three children aged 14 were held for more than six, 10 and 12 hours respectively, inspectors found.
