Weapons has become an incredibly successful horror-mystery film lately, and fans wonder when they can watch the film on streaming services.

In second place with about $44.5 million in global ticket sales, Disney’s “Freakier Friday” marked a box office comeback for Lindsay Lohan.

Original horror titles like Ryan Coogler’s Sinners and Weapons proved that audiences are still willing to gamble on bold new ideas. Alamo Drafthouse’s chief revenue officer, Mike Sherrill, told Variety that the success of the films shows that people will show up when they are given “something fresh and exciting”.

Weapons was released by Warner Bros. Pictures on August 8, 2025, and met with positive reviews, holding a 94% Rotten Tomatoes rating. Zach Cregger has written and directed this film.
