President Donald Trump has revealed his plans for drastic tariffs for Canada, with both Justin Trudeau and new Canadian PM Mark Carney slamming his plans.

Carney comes from a long career in finance, which people believe will help him manage the growing economic tensions between the U.S. and Canada. Carney is expected to be sworn in sometime this week,

Canada’s new leader previously denounced Trump’s planned tariffs on the country, saying Canadians would “stand up to a bully.”
