The Chargers and Saints exchanged three-and-outs to start the second half. New Orleans got the ball back, and undrafted rookie cornerback Eric Rogers intercepted quarterback Tyler Shough and returned it for a touchdown. Los Angeles attempted a two-point conversion and was successful.

Retired New Orleans Saints quarterback Derek Carr and safety Tyrann Mathieu appear to have already stepped into their next job. The Los Angeles Chargers have secured a 27-13 win over the New Orleans Saints in a preseason game. Trey Lance scrambled for a 5-yard touchdown, and rookie Eric Rogers had two interceptions, including a 43-yard pick-6.

The Saints will play the Chargers on Sunday, August 10, at 4:05 p.m. ET. The L.A. Chargers vs. New Orleans Saints game will air on the NFL Network as well as on FOX 8 and GRAY TV in New Orleans and on CBS 2 and Estrella in the Los Angeles Area. The game will be available to stream for out-of-market viewers on NFL+.
