Kristen Wiig is set to star in the original comedy Cut Off opposite Jonah Hill who is writing and directing for Warner Bros. Pictures.

Kristen Wiig is set to voice the role of “Roboto” in the upcoming live-action feature film “Masters of the Universe.”

The cast already includes Idris Elba, Alison Brie and Jared Leto, but a late addition is Kristen Wiig. She is voicing Roboto, the translucent, weapon-armed robot that has traditionally been portrayed by men. This time, the role is being flipped, and Wiig’s casting hints the character may lean more comedic than before.

Roboto has found a surprising new voice, and it belongs to Kristen Wiig . The Masters of the Universe character, a mechanical warrior with a transparent body and interchangeable weapon arms, will be voiced by Wiig in Amazon MGM Studios and Mattel’s upcoming live-action feature.
