Miller suffered a collarbone injury during Saturday's second preseason scrimmage and is expected to miss at least the first two games of Alabama's season,

Ryan Grubb will miss having Jam Miller in the Alabama football backfield. Alabama coach Kalen DeBoer announced Miller suffered an "upper-body injury" in the Crimson Tide's second fall scrimmage. He "went in for a procedure" and is expected to "recover fully with a timetable for his return yet to be determined."
