India and China have reached a new understanding on the management and control of the frontier during Foreign Minister Wang Yi's visit to New Delhi, the Chinese foreign ministry said on Wednesday.
India and China should view each other as "partners" rather than "adversaries or threats", Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Monday, as he arrived for a two-day visit to Delhi.
China's foreign minister, who is on a South Asian trip, arrived in Afghanistan on Aug 20. Wang Yi visited India earlier this week and is now in Kabul for three-way talks with Afghanistan and Pakistan.
