The Wisconsin Lottery saw a big winner on Wednesday night for the Megabucks jackpot. The jackpot on Wednesday night was $1.5 million, and a lucky winner claimed their ticket at the Millgate General Store in Burlington Wednesday night.

A couple of Wisconsin Lottery players who purchased Badger 5 and Powerball tickets for the Monday, Feb. 2 drawing scored big.

Both Madison and Plymouth sold winning lottery tickets for Monday’s drawing, officials from the Wisconsin Lottery said.

A quick stop at a Burlington convenience store just turned one customer's routine errand into a $1.5 million plot twist.
