Alan Jackson and his wife Denise’s love story began 50 years ago, when the couple met in their shared hometown of Newnan, Ga. Denise was a high school cheerleader at the time, and during their earliest days as a couple,
"She was a cheerleader for Newnan High School," Jackson said, recalling the day when he found himself at a mutual friend's house where Denise was "practicing her dance routine for the cheerleader squad" ahead of an upcoming football game. The number was choreographed to "Still the One," a pop hit released that summer by Orleans.
