Warm, sunny and dry conditions will continue through Saturday with highs topping out in the upper 70s to upper 80s. Big changes for Sunday, though!
After severe weather canceled last year's Fox Cities marathon, the forecast for this weekend calls for rain at time.
In addition, the dewpoint temps (moisture) will be increasing, so there will be a bit of a "humid" feel to the air as well. The upcoming weekend will likely remain dry, but a brief shot of cooler air will knock things back down into the upper 70s Saturday and even mid-70s Sunday with some added cloud cover.
Pittsburgh's weekend weather forecast expects mostly sunny days and warm temperatures, with only a slight cool-down due to a weak front.
Today’s forecast: There is a wind shift from southwest to northeast winds coming through Lower Michigan. It will likely spark a really small area of very quick thundershowers around Saginaw Bay. The rest of Michigan shouldn’t expect any rain today. Let’s keep looking for a weather pattern switch to at least a short term taste of fall.
A stable and relatively dry pattern will persist through Thursday, along with moderate to locally breezy trade winds, bringing limited clouds and showers to windward and mauka areas. Increased shower activity is expected Thursday night into the weekend. A return to a more stable trade wind pattern is expected early next week.
For Wednesday I increased the rain chance to 30% based on the number of showers we saw on Tuesday. And any showers or storms that develop could be slow moving and produce a decent amount of rainfall. Away from the rain it will still be hot; but obviously areas that receive rain will have cooler temperatures.
