The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical Storm Gabrielle, located over the central subtropical Atlantic. Gabrielle should become a hurricane within the next 24 hours. A tropical wave over the eastern Atlantic is producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms west-southwest of the Cabo Verde Islands.

While a tropical disturbance is on the verge of becoming Tropical Depression Seven or Tropical Storm Gabrielle, the FOX Forecast Center is also paying close attention to the Gulf as the peak of the Atlantic hurricane season approaches on Sept.
